The Dylan thread...............

I saw Dylan in concert this year and saw him do a duet with Wille Nelson. Not the greatest performance, but for the $40 I spent, it was well worth it at the very least to just see him perform at all.

I have never seen him live ........... in 1978 ... I was at my first gig , Steve Hillage at Leicester , after the gig , we wondered what was going on ..... hundreds of people running through the streets ...... to get Dylan tickets!!!

I didn't discover Dylan for another 18 months (two years) , which coincided with my conversion and his to Christ!

Has anyone heard the new Dylan bootleg album?

A friend of mine got it and said he enjoys it. I may pick it up at some point, but I don't have a ton of cash right now.

I've only heard a couple songs off the new album. I really like the alternate version of 'Visions Of Johanna', and I'll probably eventually pick it up.

Which one? There are like 5 or so official ones...which kinda defeats the concept of "bootleg." I have one from a concert a friend went to...I wouldn't share it, just for the sake of others' ears.
