I agree with Deepak here in thinking that the devil is no more than a human invention so that we have someone (or something) to blame when things go wrong.

Tempted isn't the word I would use for that. However, as of yet the only miracle I have heard of Jesus performing that couldn't/hasn't been done by a modern day magician is coming back to life.
