The 'Demon Dilemma'.

I think that the word 'annointed' is used in so many scenarios and has pretty much lost any direct meaning. What is your definition of 'if annointed signs follow'? I've found that usually mere men give themselves the title of annointed? What type of signs? By the preacher? I see a big red flag when one calls themselves annointed. We are all servants of the Most High and all gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. If a person calls themselves annointed then they are placing a value on themselves a sinner of being special and or worthy of a title.

'Signs' is another one of those words that is valued by the person. A sign could be anything. Can you give examples?

A biblical sign is usually a physical result of a supernatural event .. A person can stop drinking on their own .... Another person can be delivered from a drinking demon through Holy Ghost anointing power that can come from prayer and fasting from another .. The fervent prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective

I was called a sock when I first came to CF a year ago. I think it means that a person has two accounts and has one account agree with the other account as to seem like their are two people in agreement. The idea is that the person with two accounts has a second sock account to validate and make others think their are real people in agreement rather than the same person with two accounts.

It tends to come from those who need an excuse as to why another person is not in agreement with them. It's a nasty little accusation meant to be an insult, many Spirit Filled make this accusation. It's odd that they claim to be Spirit Filled yet speak lies which would indicate that our Father is not necessarily their father, if you catch my drift.

Actually I dont mean it as an insult but an honest question as I know there are socks that abound in this place. One from before your time, Pinetree, has a couple of them as he is banned but somehow he is here or at least someone with exactly the same posting style and beliefs is.

I don't believe the devil or Satan could ever invade a sound mind that did not want them there.

We have areas in our life that satan can gain access unless we keep those doors shut tight. Perhaps it starts out as a thought and progresses to action and keeps going till it controls and ruins many things in your life, that is not of God and its origin has but one place and when we reach a point of obsession I gaurantee that a demon has set up shop. I do believe that a truly saved person cannot be possessed but I do believe that the demon can oppress them

Not really, we are responsible for allowing it access to begin with and we are responsible for our actions but the root cause must be looked at as well. It is not an excuse or at least it shouldnt be but it is a truth that they do gain access to us by our own thoughts and actions.
