I've not been invited to this party, but I just had to ask: this dragon, since he's a dragon, does he approve of flaming?

Only with regards to things you can eat. On the plus side, ever since I accepted the dragon into my life, I've been able to cook the best steaks ever...

If you want to call the Dragon a deity, feel free. The Dragon has let me know that he does not wish to be called a deity, and thus I do not call him one. Although he has also told me that if a person really wants to think of him as a deity, then he will allow it. He wants people to do whatever makes them happy (but not if those things will involve other people against their will). Thus I said that you can call him a deity if you want to, even though I personally wouldn't. The Dragon has seen what happens when belief systems have rigid laws, people end up getting hurt.

You have made an error in which attributes are ascribed to a thing that could not possibly have that property. You ascribed theistic attributes to a non deity.

Unless your dragon is a deity, then that would void your arguement as well(.eg proud atheist). Either way your dragon argument and variants of it (.eg a dragon who can blind creationists to evolution) are completely erroneous.

I have made no category error. I have made it clear that I do not see the dragon as a deity, and I have also made it clear that the dragon has communicated to me that it does not view itself as a deity. I have ALSO made it clear that the Dragon will not stop you from viewing it as a deity if you choose to see it as one. But that does not mean everyone must likewise treat it as a deity. mI mean, when my daughter was very little, she viewed me as a deity. I know when I was a little girl, I viewed my mum as the most powerful thing in the universe, a deity, if you will. Didn't actually make her one though.

All you are doing is jumping to a conclusion, refusing to listen to a correcting viewpoint and then declaring that you are right and therefore everyone else is wrong. You are ignoring others, and thus missing out on important information which proves your position wrong.

No I haven't. My position is that I do not have belief in any deity. My position is also that the dragon is not a deity. Therefore me believing in the dragon does not contradict my position, and I have not committed any fallacy.
