"His people" is subjective, in the first place His people are all men, in the second place His people are the descendants of Abraham, then the descendants of Israel, then the Called and chosen also called Israel. What comprises his people? How do they become His people?
One Lord, one faith, one baptism as the Bible says.
Perfect is an irrational concept unless you define what you mean by it, for example, "so, then you are as perfect as God in heaven is true, faithful and graceful".So then you are as perfect as God in heaven is perfect?
Women are not his people??????"His people" is subjective, in the first place His people are all men, in the second place His people are the descendants of Abraham, then the descendants of Israel, then the Called and chosen also called Israel.
Jesus commanded us to "Be as perfect as our Father in heaven." That can't be irrational unless God is irrational, but we know that is not possible. Jesus asked us to be as perfect as our Father in heaven, and you say He never asks of us something impossible for us to do; ergo, you must be as perfect as God in heaven unless your premise is faulty.Perfect is an irrational concept unless you define what you mean by it, for example, "so, then you are as perfect as God in heaven is true, faithful and graceful".
I am not able to make a comparison between God and I; God has asked me and us to do things, these I attempt to do. There is a difference between knowing and doing.
If you are talking about ownership, then women belong to God, I had not intended to exclude women, I was thinking mankind. You may have noticed that the Bible is a man's book, like Paul said, "All women have to do to be saved is have babies". I conclude that women are not under judgement, as men are.Women are not his people??????
The English language is rubbery and flexible and requires considerable skill to use it properly, Greek words are more specific. The KJV from which you have quoted is a word for word translation, the problem is there are not word for word equivalents between English and Greek, only approximations. The Greek word in your quote, rendered perfect, means in Greek, "of full age, personal statue, integrity, complete (Holy).Jesus commanded us to "Be as perfect as our Father in heaven." But wouldn’t you agree that we must consider all that Paul says on a subject rather than just a single verse? He also said in Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus".If you are talking about ownership, then women belong to God, I had not intended to exclude women, I was thinking mankind. There is no ambiguity when a model is provided. In this case it is God.The English language is rubbery and flexible and requires considerable skill to use it properly, Greek words are more specific. Are you as complete as God? Are you as Holy as God? Do you have the integrity of God? Even if we insert the definitions you quoted into Christs command, I think anyone of us would be hard pressed to lay claim to such an achievement. Yet, it is a clear command of Christ’s.
I do believe there is an answer but it is not found in our best efforts.
Without a specific context, Galatians 3:28 as you quote it is the ramblings of an insane man; it does not describe the world today or any day in the past; it does describe the world the Atheists are setting up today, are you a transvestite, can you define what a woman is.But wouldn’t you agree that we must consider all that Paul says on a subject rather than just a single verse? Christ as a man is the standard I aspire to and am commanded to, but because I do no know what that is, best effort sounds good. I believe of those who are saved their best effort will be unique to each individual, but they will all be on the same team. There is no ambiguity when a model is provided. In this case it is God.

Are you implying that Paul was an insane man? The text is very clear in what it says. We are all one in Christ, it is not a man's religion, nor a Greek's, nor is it a Jew's religion. We are all the same before Christ.Without a specific context, Galatians 3:28 as you quote it is the ramblings of an insane man; it does not describe the world today or any day in the past; it does describe the world the Atheists are setting up today, are you a transvestite, can you define what a woman is.
So, salvation is relative? There is no clear-cut way to be saved; we try hard and hope for the best. Are you saved tonight or are you just hoping to pass the grade?Christ as a man is the standard I aspire to and am commanded to, but because I do no know what that is, best effort sounds good. My implication was that Paul's words are only validly Paul's words when Paul's contexts are used. My understanding of "insane" is it refers to feeble mind to a point where the person is unable to testify in a court of Law; my opinion of Paul is he was so intelligent that he was able to deceive the very elect. Are you implying that Paul was an insane man? I believe in my case judgement has been determined and there is nothing I can do to gain more; I could lose more. Sometimes I feel safe other times I get nervish. So, salvation is relative? What did you do to gain what you have?I believe in my case judgement has been determined and there is nothing I can do to gain more; I could lose more. Sometimes I feel safe other times I get nervish.
Have you considered what the narrow path actually is? The pharisees prided themselves on their strict adherence to the law and yet they were on the broad path to destruction. My implication was that Paul's words are only validly Paul's words when Paul's contexts are used. Your interpretation of Paul, "We are all one in Christ, it is not a man's religion, nor a Greek's, nor is it a Jew's religion". I view this as unnecessary, un-useful rhetoric. Who do you call "We", those who found the narrow path, or them who take the broad path, or them who keep the commandments of God, or them who abrogate the Law; I believe "man's religion is the path most take.
Why do you want to know? What did you do to gain what you have?
There is no end of fault that can be found with the pharisees, but the long and short of it is, they had not entered into the covenant, had they, Jesus's blood would have covered them.Have you considered what the narrow path actually is? The pharisees prided themselves on their strict adherence to the law and yet they were on the broad path to destruction.
It is difficult to imagine Paul as a deceiver when one considers his radical transformation from an avowed enemy of Christians to a staunch defender of the faith.
1 Cor 7:19 "what matters is keeping the commandments of God"commandment-keeping, in general, is an empty pointless exercise in a vain attempt to scale the wall of the sheepfold.
