That's a pretty big deal. Somebody has taken your education much too lightly.

Perhaps so. However, there are people who are biologists and who are therefore better able than me to answer questions about the origin of life.

Some take their lack of education far too lightly.

Historians are all liars and must be to tickle the whimsy of readers.
Actual history is soooooo boring.

Well, everything that happens happens for a reason in a reasonable world.
The reason for life to occur would have to be pretty big, huge, dramatic.
Every "Effect" needs to have a sufficient "Cause".

So for science to shrug it's shoulders and not form a reason would be no different
than the religious zealot.

Some people might think that the reason why terrestrial life came into existence was the Sun, and on the terrestrial scale the Sun is pretty big, huge and dramatic.

The Sun is undoubtedly why life stuck around:

"Ooh, that big bright ball is pretty dramatic. I think I'll stick around." -- early life

And thus the Earth did not revert to its barren, lifeless state.

Moral watchdog?

Isn't that the traditional role of religionists?

Morality is far to important to leave to the religionists.

[EDIT(add): That's the problem with reviving old threads. Sometimes you respond the same way a second time.]

Athiesm is dangerous because it causes people to lose their salvation.

And there are Atheist antivaxxers also.

There are also atheist tap dancers, but that's a secret we like to keep to ourselves.

The thesis of the stream is the idea that creationist organizations (e.g. professional creationists) have spent decades training their followers to distrust science and science professionals. In the context of evolution-denial, it's theoretically not a big deal. In the context of the current pandemic and vaccines, however, science distrust is causing real harm.
That's like saying conscientious objectors were responsible for keeping the war in Vietnam going.

And if only scientists could explain why life forms. Perhaps if they could find some somewhere to study.

And there are Atheist antivaxxers also.

Atheists in the USA have higher IQ, more
education and higher income, fewer in prison
than the relihious. The gap is much bigger
for the fundamentalists, who draw their numbers
from the lower socio-economic ranks of society.

"Atheist" is not a proper noun, btw.

That's like saying conscientious objectors were responsible for keeping the war in Vietnam going.

Many blamed the anti-war movement for the US' defeat.

This is not to say that religious people are inherently dumber or less educated than the nonreligious, but as sociopolitical institutions, fundamentalist churches have tended to rely on willful ignorance, and more importantly, weaponized ignorance, to keep the flock in line.

I don't know if it is true, but I've been told that tap dancers run hot and cold on their belief in God.

Studies reveal lapsed Catholic applied mathematicians have the highest IQs.

*Atheism.*

Can't lose something that no one ever had.

Thank you grammar police. I will leave atheist uncapitalized then. And Jews have the highest IQ. As far as fewer atheists in prison, are you sure about that? As a percentage? I can see not many atheists in prison when 99% of the population is Christian. Are you suggesting atheists are less likely to commit crimes? As a percentage? I'd like to see your evidence for that. Compared to say, Christians, Jews, Muslims, and whoever else.
