God loves us so much, even when we sin, He loves us too much to leave us in our sin so He gives us grace.Praise the Lord.

sinning isnt a joyful experience when you are following the Spirit. God chastises those He loves.God loves us so much, even when we sin, He loves us too much to leave us in our sin so He gives us grace.
Those who say they are saved and continue living sinful lives don't understand God's grace.
Wow. That scripture is exactly how i felt earlier when i was meditating on the commands of the Lord. I was rejoicing.Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Some still have the mistaken idea that sin is fun.sinning isnt a joyful experience when you are following the Spirit. God chastises those He loves.
I was a HORRIBLE sinner most of my life. It got to the point that i saw no worth in myself anymore. Lord have mercy. I can feel Gods love however. Contrition overwhelms me. As sad as it sounds, this is the reason i live and its wonderful. Praise the Lord. Some still have the mistaken idea that sin is fun.
But if we would see sin as god sees sin, we would never think sin is fun.
People enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, but they never think about the results of there actions or they don't take them seriously.
They think they can get drunk at night and not have a hangover the next morning or they don't it will be that bad.
Or they think there marriage will survive committing adultery, thinking they won't get caught.
But sin has a way of making itself known to everybody.
The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should soberly, righteously and godly in this present world. I just posted this verse in another thread and I thought I would elaborate on it a little more here in response to this quote.Grace is like a father, patiently teaching its child. Amen.
I agree Doug.I just posted this verse in another thread and I thought I would elaborate on it a little more here in response to this quote.
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Sometimes our fathers do not have the best plans for us, and sometimes our fathers can be downright mean.
I believe Jesus told us this verse because He did not want is to think our Heavenly Father was just like our earthly father.
Our Heavenly Father's plans for us are always good. Jeremiah 29:11
All of our Heavenly Father's gifts are good and perfect. James 1:17

Just as Paul said, "Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark. Philippians 3:13-14In Hope we'll make it. I will not fear but hope in the Lord. I cant see the end of the road, but i know that walking by faith not sight seems good to me. I cannot look at where i have been, i can only walk forward in hope.
Amen brother.Just as Paul said, "Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark. Philippians 3:13-14
