Thinking of mercy this morning.

James 2:13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

He has shown you O man what is good, and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, TO LOVE MERCY and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

I always liked that psalm.

There is a lot of sorrow and pain in the world, but there is also beauty. Its like a contradiction. Perhaps God wants us to experience this contradiction so we can know how it feels, as a part of our learning. We are contrary to God and perhaps this is how He feels when enduring with us. Just my opinion.

Many seek rest, but it is only found in Jesus Christ. Matthew 11:28-30

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, he meditates therein day and night. Jesus is the Word.
Verse 3 shows the result of doing verse 2.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. Planting a tree takes planning and care.
Bring forth fruit in its season. John 15
His leaf also shall not wither. This is our fruit remaining.
And whatsoever we do will prosper. Genesis 39:2

Yet He lifts us up on eagle's wings so that we can, against all odds, soar above it.
