O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

I have found blessing in this scripture, in my life.

2 Corinthians 12:8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Love this! This was one of my mom's favorites and it hung on our wall when I was growing up.

I would not have understood this when I was younger the way I do now. To God be the glory! May my life be lived in such a way that others may see God through me.

Yes, there are many sizes. I have a flute that has a drone attached, one side has the holes and the other side has one sound. You can play both sides together or just one

I've learned that when we behave ourselves, things go much better. I find it irritating when religious leaders, in an apparent attempt to make themselves popular, will belittle the Lord's commandments.

In Latin America there is a similar flute, called a quena. Simon and Garfunkel were influenced by this kind of music.

Sounds like a good paraphrase of the sentiment from a number of Psalms.
