I would like to see deeper fellowship get more traffic than it usually does. This is a great forum that we can all enjoy. The Church in acts met daily for fellowship. Would you join me every day, in this thread, to fellowship together? :) You could share a psalm, song, scripture, or whatever seems edifying.

Yes He is. He is our fondest meditation. :)
This reminds me of Philippians 4:8
Finally, my brethren Whatever things are True, Honest, Just, Pure, Lovely, of Good Report, if there be any virtue or praise, think on these things.
Every one of those things Christ is.

Indeed He is. He DELIGHTS in us meditating on His delightfulness!!!

Hahaaaa!!!

:clap:
Amen. My head use to be full of junk, and it was not healthy for me. Anxiety, depression, deep regret, and confusion. Those things still try to move into my head at times, but they find that my mind is already full, of the Lord and His goodness.

Hebrews 10:16 “This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[a]

Amen, and this one too.

Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Goodness, Truth, and Beauty.

All things Godly have some combination of these 3 charictaristics. Focusing on these, much as the cited verse from Philippians, is a great way to stay focused on Christ.

Amen. The Joy we find as we rest in Him.

Psalm 139:1-11

Lord, you have searched me out and known me;
you know my sitting down and my rising up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.

You trace my journeys and my resting places
and are acquainted with all my ways.

Indeed, there is not a word on my lips,
but you, O Lord, know it altogether.

You press upon me behind and before
and lay your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is so high that I cannot attain to it.

Where can I go then from your Spirit?
where can I flee from your presence?

If I climb up to heaven, you are there;
if I make the grave my bed, you are there also.

If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Even there your hand will lead me,
and the light around me turn to night.

Darkness is not dark to you;
the night is as bright as the day;
darkness and light to you are both alike.

Indeed! When we walk in this way, those around us are brought into the light of God. Mercy and Grace abounds!

I too am frustrated that 90 percent of my time here seems to be in response to attacks on Catholicism!

So let's focus on what we share, or how we should be, not how we differ

Here is A favourite of mine: st Francis prayer:
What do all you think? How do we measure up to this?

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
