The current American inflation rate for common goods and services is down to 3%.

The COVID pandemic threw a NEW wrench into the wheels of the economy. But, 3% now is quite manageable.

Those who repeat falsehoods about the American economy, as Trump regularly does, are ignoring the fact that the American economy rebounded much faster than the worldwide economy. And, much of this was due to the professional actions of the Federal Reserve, which operates independently of the President.

There are challenges that Americans must face, in the economy. But, many of these need to be solved with new legislation, and are not in the control of the President.

3% is manageable but it still is above the 2% target. Given the Federal Reserve was responsible for the inflation in the first place, I do not give them much credit. Plus, there still is a possibility that the economy slows too much and they have signaled that while rates will moderate they are not planning to go so low again. Like all the other central banks they debased the currency and assisted the government to cover up all their debt. If they do that much more it will spin out of control though as a percent of the economy it might be Japan that will fall first.

If all this is true then why do many Americans have to work two jobs and shockingly many are working two full-time jobs to make ends meet?
