Here's the situation.

A man has developed something called DefCon. DefCon is a suppliment that is natural, free of side-effects, and has never shown any adverse effects when taken at proper dosages. When taken in the proper dosage, DefCon bolster's the immune system in a person by as much as 4-500%, rendering most people who take a regular regimine of it next to immune to many diseases. This also has use in the fight against AIDS, as DefCon allows an HIV positive person to have an immune system that functions at or slightly beyond normal, dramatically increasing thier life expectancy.

Infections, colds, the flu, any kind of disease that can be fought off by your immune system now has almost no chance of taking hold in your system because its been boosted by DefCon.

The man who developed DefCon publically admits he is a dedicated Satanist and openly admits to praying to Satan for guidance in developing DefCon.

Taking all that into consideration, would you take DefCon yourself or give it to a member of your family?

Would your answer change if that person was Pagan, Jewish, an Atheist (assume they denied God's existance and reviewed science text books before comming on the discovery), or Catholic?

A person's belief does not effect product, maybe it could effect service but not product.

I'd still be sceptical of the product especially if the product was free from all side effects.

If it's been succifiently proven to work and adequate trials have been done to show NO side effects at all and the mechanism and physiology of action are understood and accepted? Yes, I'd take it.

I question, but don't completely disregard, the existance of a literal Satan. If it exists, I believe God is stronger, and I don't believe that either God or Satan could be conveniently distilled into a pill and transmitted via ingestion. So I don't really care in any case. If it has been proven effective and safe, then yes, I'd take it.
