Smug? I'm just OK with the results of the election. I can't beleive that you guys are still crying over that loss.
Who is crying? I just thought you might be able to admit that some out-of-the-ordinary things occurred to give Bush a victory in 2000. You can talk about it now, you know. No one is going to call for a re-do in 2005.

I recall the Gore camp not being happy with the election results. Then they tried to toss out votes and try to get the Courts to change the results. It did not work so here we are. Get over it...this is 2005. ;)

Katherine Harris, campaign worker and access to scrub lists. Any one that can't see the conflict of interest should stay out of the conversation.

"Before the election, a firm hired by Harris in her capacity as Secretary of State to purge convicted felons from the voter rolls erroneously removed 8,000 registered voters who had been convicted only of misdemeanors, thousands of others who had the same names as felons, and a few whose computer records said they had committed crimes in the future."

People in positions of state power should not be participating in any campaign other then their own.

I am over it. If you do not think there was anything shady about the 2000 election, just say so. Stop trying to make it an emotional issue. You have had 5 years to do your victory dance. You get over it.

Get over Clinton already then. I don't see so much whining from certain camps when conservatives start throwing up "Clinton!"

I wasn't aware you were the only conservative on these boards. I wasn't aware this was the only thread you read. I was aware that I've never seen you post anything resembling "get over it" when Clinton was brought up. Good day mate

I am sure Jesus is proud of the humility you have shown thus far.

So it does not seem out of the ordinary that the Supreme Court put the kibosh on Florida's recount in rather unprecedented fashion?

Any fresh Ideas out of the DNC lately? Oh yeah - We hate Bush!

As a matter of fact -- yes.

For that matter, a group has formed within Texas to take back the Democratic Party so that it's actually a Democratic Party instead of "Republican Lite".
