• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

* Arnold is very sad. No cherry and chili tea?? :(

 Ari. Pleasant dreams, m'dear. I hope you get enough rest!! It's icky to be sleepy during the day ... I know the feeling too well. Caffeine pills = ♥♥♥ Oh, and it's okay that you haven't responded yet ... no rush, you know how terrible I can be with responding to PMs!!

Hmm I discovered that I can "sprint" 150 yards ... "sprint" because it's with hiking boots and a winter coat and a dog in two inches of snow ... :p Good exercise nonetheless. I'm getting good with this exercise thing. And I'm actually enjoying it!! It feels good to know that I'm helping my body be healthy. Although there is still the temptation, once in awhile, to do things to hurt it, like restrict (oops) or overexercise. Oh well.

Now I'm listening to Jeremy Camp ... it's nice to listen to worship music sometimes!! Nice change from some of my other music.

Split, thread!!

Jeremy Camp is amazing. :) Have you heard his song "My Desire"? I think that one is my favorite... it gives me chills every time.

Exercise is good. I don't usually have motivation until I actually get myself moving, and then I'm plenty motivated, since it feels so good. :)

Hmm, I wonder, too.
