Politicians, lawyers, weddings, etc, only use the Bible as props.... They don't even know Jesus told us NOT to swear oaths! - Matthew 5:34-37!

And they swore by the Bible!

Besides the Holy Bible we have also the Holy Church. And latter says: the Powers of State are from God. One can find the verses in the Bible. Even God has sworn.
