*Laughs* Actually, I'm not taking sides because I haven't ever heard an oboe. Though I do agree that flutes are awesome... I sometimes miss playing flute, though I do like singing a lot. Speaking of which, voice lesson tomorrow!Hihiiiiiiii, Joi-san
I hear that you haven't quite sided yet.... on Le Great Debate. You probably like Joy, don't you? That's why you're not taking a side. But you should take a side! I like Joy too, but her taste in instruments is way weird. I think she's deaf towards the actual sound of le oboe. There's no other possible way she could've endured playing that instrument as long as she has. And to tell you the truth, she inwardly--she um, told me, kind of, this, well, she might have, or, she should have--prefers flutes to oboes.
And besides, you've played flute, you know the superiority of it! The silvery goodness is better than lightly toasted butter. So, yes.Flutes will conquer!
/me walks out, laughing wildly

*Shakes head* Unfortunately the flute I was using was rented, so I had to give it backWHAT?????????
Well, at least you do have a good reason for it. I would've thought nothing bad about oboe had I not heard one either. But the moment you hear one.... especially a non-professional behind the helm--err, reed.... trust me, you would wholeheartedly support me. Unless you're deaf to oboe-badness, which should be quite rare! And don't mistake me, a professional oboist sounds completely different from an amateur, so it's not necessarily the decent(rare) and tolerable ones I am bandying against. It's.... very..... odd. >_<
Don't you have your flute anymore?Even if I quit like, orchestra, I would keep my flute and mess around on it occasionally!

You haven't heard a real oboe, being played by a real oboist. Like, a normal person. (anybody who can play that instrument well isn't normal!) Anybody playing oboe in our age group (teens and such) sounds simply miserable. Because, I mean, experience and having an insanely expensive instrument really makes a difference! I have heard good oboe playing and it is simply amazing, but phew. Keep me away from the goose mating calls!Or near-completely deaf, like I am.
I like the oboe, gosh darnit! There's nothing wrong with the way it sounds! It's like a fancy clarinet!
I hear that's how it always is.Actually, my bro and I are quite different. ...Well, not TOO different, but we have our striking differences, that's for sure. We get along really well, though. Wasn't always so, but I'm glad it is in the last days I have at home.
Sam, that actually wouldn't be much of a problem. Go with something like a Nord, Imperial, or Dark Elf, take the Knight class, and bam, greatsword-wielding do-gooder.My Orc Barbarian is kinda like that, except he either uses a great axe, a mace and shield, or crossbow, and I tend to have little sympathy for unruly dark elves.
They're very much racist, and they're worst to Orcs, so I don't normally feel to guilty about killing slavers, ones who attack me outright, or even suspected criminals. I've really only killed one dark elf in cold blood, and that was because I accidentally just clicked my mouse after talking to him and ended up smashing him in the head with my mace.

The flute sounds like a yapping chihuahua when played incorrectly, so nyah. What?! Awww! I'm sorry. Mine was rented the first year or two also, because my parents weren't sure I would stick with it. But maybe you'll find a good deal on one someday!
No no no. It's quite different. I mean, an amateur flutist still sounds somewhat like a professional. The difference between the experience(and quality) of the oboist is night and day. Even Joy admits that she cringes on hearing newbies go at it! Seriously. It's whiny, loud, and can be heard over an entire orchestra. Trust me... I know. >_<

Awesome. This game sounds better and better. Now, the only problem I'll have with it is time and knowing when I've 'won'. I know you can't possibly do everything there is to do in the game, but is there anything that resembles an end?Actually, my bro and I are quite different. ...Well, not TOO different, but we have our striking differences, that's for sure. Sexual scenes that are too sexual
I KNOW! I did my best to defend your honor, Joy!It split?! Or maybe I'm just utterly confused. I'm on a really slow internet cafe computer.
And I never said anything about prefering flutes to oboes! OBOES ARE THE BEST!!!!!![]()
