Well, the moving part doesn't bother me. The fact that we qualified for a loan far bigger than we thought we would means getting our "dream house." It's just sooo much more money than the house we own now.

Exciting, nauseating, and depressing all at once! I am not used to these feelings of insecurity.

I was hoping an experienced homebuyer could give me some pointers, actually. I'm new at this. And though we can comfortably make the monthly payments, this is still a boatload of money (to me), hence the queasiness. I feel like I will be signing my life away.

Odds are, everything will work out just fine. So, don't fret too much or lose sleep over it. You'll be fine. The real estate market is starting up.

They've been told the way it works, and that drama is not needed in any situation. Yet, they just can't seem to grasp that.

I'm going to an amnesty international candle light vigil tonight @ 8 . It's about the darn awful treatment that asylum seekers receive when they attempt to come to Australia. For those who don't know, an asylum seeker recently died at the Manus Island detention centre under our care during a riot. It was "darn awful".
