Last chapter in the book of Number, Deuteronomy is next.
Thank you for this beautiful summary of Deuteronomy. It'a an excellent basis to be aware of before reading the book of Deuteronomy and covers much of what could be somewhat confusing or overlooked.
This verse that you posted i had found on a piece of paper at work a couple years ago and i have loved it since....what a glorious promise it is:
I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days. (Deuteronomy 30:1920)

THIS is amaaaaaazing, especially since many of the Israelites fell during this long journey....yet, God multiplied them greatly.....
"The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude." ~Deuteronomy 1:10
reminds me of the promise God made to Abraham:
"And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;" ~Genesis 26:4
Yes, seeeeerious bizniz.....
ever wondered how Moses kept his sanity during all o' the shennanigans of the Israelites?
This commentary helped me to understand how this scripture applies to me today..
