iAlive - when I read that passage in chapter 9, I got the impression that it gave the Egyptian CITIZENS a taste of God's power and his mercy. He warned them in advance to come inside. Basically believe in him, go in door and be safe, or disbelieve and die. Imagine anyone who heeded his words, going in doors and how THANKFUL and full of belief they would be when the hail came. That action alone seems as though it would open so many hearts to faith. Plant that seed of 'what if' for God!
(I loved that verse, by the way. And it seemed significant to me too)
God is so incredible!
To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, may you have a blessed and happy Easter
See, I keep gettin' confused here...Moses is doing all of this as God commands...and God seems pretty mad but it's GOD that is making Pharoah be stubborn...so why would God make Pharoah stubborn then get upset?
Could you imagine that many locusts? To be so many, the ground loox black? That would be freaky...
Now if He knew Pharoah would be that way, then He didn't need to hardened his heart, right? I'm probably just not gettin' it...thanx Brinny
Maybe this isn't the place but could I just ask for your prayers? I've been having a lot of doubts lately and I'm really not sure about my faith any more but I still want to be a Christian so if you could put in a good word for me that would be great. If I don't post for a while though don't assume the worst as I also have a lot of studying atm. Thank you and God bless
