Rabbit lol, that's good...
Seems most families aren't as much like that anymore...like let's say we start with my parents...of course it's them, then I have 4 siblings...between us, us kids have 7 kids...then counting from those 7 there are I believe 8 (my great neices and great nephews)....and ya know, I've YET, to be called Uncle...isn't that messed up? lol...so our family isn't all that big...very small in comparison...

No...never have and I don't know why...grant it, my older sister and an older brother are my half sibs...but still, it's family...and they never seemed to encourage their kids to call me Uncle...
When I see these kids on facebook, I refer to them and I'll say Nephew or Neice but never an 'Uncle' back...
Now with Eric, oh good grief, everybody is Uncle or Aunt lol...with that metal band we're friends with, each one is Uncle...Uncle Sal, Uncle Garry, Uncle Henry, Uncle Dario lol...we encourage Eric...

Oh at times it's bothered a little but overall, I'm ok with it...maybe someday...now with Cousins, oh boy, I'm always referred to as Cousin and I dig it...I have met SO many after the past couple years of family research...

I am temporarily back (out of the internet free vacation.) I have Wi-Fi for half an hour!
One of the things I saw in yesterday's chapter was their idea of justice. Guys nowadays would think killing an entire city to avenge an insult to their sister was a little extreme, but at the time that kind of harsh "justice" was much more common. I have heard people say that the "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" in Moses' law was lenient compared to the "household for an eye, head for a tooth" justice of the time.
I noticed that Genesis 35:2 says to put aside the foreign gods that are among you. As in get rid of the things the world worships... makes me think of the games on my cell phone... I'll have to ponder that one.
As for families, I'm in a huge one. My Dad was one of 3 kids and Mom one of 4, so I have 9 first cousins, many of them have kids, I myself am the oldest of 6 children so there will be quite a clan in another 40 years.
Rejoicing today! This is the 2nd anniversary of the day I became a Christian. Yes, it's a celebration even though this is Lent. It's like an extra birthday!

One thing that has always been meaningful to me is that Joseph and his brothers had trouble loving each other too. Sibling strife isn't new. The brothers were mean to Joseph and he had a hard time being nice to them! That's something I can think about when I have trouble getting,along with my brother.
