Ecclesiastes 11:

God is warning that although we may run around and do whatever we please and not give any thought to the consequences, there surely IS a day of reckoning coming.

As surely as the sun rises it is coming.

Ecclesiastes 12:

God is warning us here that nothing is hidden from him, and that everything we ever do will come to Light, including all the "secret" things we have thought or done, thinking they are/were hidden.

Nothing is hidden from God.

Now we begin the Song of Songs, another book i have not delved into nor am i familiar with.

"I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine:" ~Song of Songs 6:3

Song of Songs 7:

"Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus. Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries. How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love " ~Song of Songs 7:4-6

Lovely.

Now begins the book of Isaiah, one of the most profound books in the Bible, where God shares the depths of His heart in the most astounding ways.

Isaiah 1:

THIS is just one of the keys to knowing/seeing God's heart. There are others, but this is perhaps one of the most profound keys.

Isaiah 2:

Amen.

Isaiah 3:

This is a powerful warning of God's judgement against His people.

Verse 4 especially stands out. What it is saying is that children will be tyrants and rule over adults, as punishment and judgment for God's people rejecting and dismissing Him. It appears to be a curse, and that they are reaping what they have sown and it is coming to fruition, and manifesting in their own children.

Tragic.

"And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them." ~Isaiah 3:4

What GLORIOUS good news!

Isaiah 10:

here in verses 1 and 2, is a stern warning and promise that God SEES all who oppresses the poor, the fatherless, the helpless, even to the signing of laws and regulations that oppress the poor and widows, and the fatherless even moreso, robbing them of justice.

God promises that a day of reckoning IS coming.

"Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!"
