a wonderful promise from God is Romans 10:
3 For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.

4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.

In reading the laws in Deuteronomy, the laws come to me as promises because of what Jesus did, I am able to keep his commandments, I don't need to brake his laws, my desire is to please him. It is wonderful to read these verses in a completely different way. How wonderful!

Just as God brought Israel out of slavery and bondage in Egypt,so we as God's spiritual elect have been brought out of darkness and sin into God's marvellous light!

We all have that choice. To have Christ is life. To not have Christ is death. May we all choose Christ and life!
