"For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." ~II Corinthians 7:10

II Corinthians 8:

How precious this is.....a joyful, merry heart, tryin' to "out-give" God hahaaaa!

But that's just it. We CANNOT "out-give" God.

This verse comes to mind:

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God." ~Deuteronomy 28:2

How DELIGHTFUL is THAT??!!

Awwwwwww...this is SOOOOOO true!!! God DELIGHTS in a cheerful giver. He DELIGHTS in blessing their socks off hahaaaaa!

LOVE it!!!!!

What a PRECIOUS God He is!!!!

And this precious God LOVES and DELIGHTS in us!!!!

Amen!!!! EVERY single thought, yes!!!! Even if we forget or get lapse about it, we come BACK to our God and GIVE those accumulated, runaway-train-like thoughts TO our God. ALL of them.

Reminds me of what David said:

Now we begin the 9th book of the New Testament, Galatians.

Galatians 1:

"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." ~Galatians 1:10

Galatians 2:

I was just meditating on this as i listened to a reading of "The Hiding Place", about Corrie Ten Boom, and her family who hid the Jews from the Nazis in Harlem. I was meditating on how, making such sacrifices, makes it a necessity to "live" this verse, literally:

"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," ~Philippians 3:8

This verse reminds me of how we are to pray for, support, and encourage especially our brothers and sisters in Christ who are oppressed, persecuted, and in dire danger for being identified in Christ. (((hug)))
