When I get to heaven I just might ask God why the NSW players always seem to do something silly that loses the game for them. Last year third game silly pass that should never have been thrown Lockyer scores same thing first game this year. Then wednesday night Bailey gives away stupid penalty (although I disagree with the commentators about that being a penalty in any NRL game) which gives QLD great field position for nice grubber kick.

I'm not going to blame the ref for allowing the forward pass although any Qld'er who says nothing about the forward pass but complained about NSW one in first game is a poor sport imo.
God is a Maroons supporter :p.

Well NSW may have won the third game. But QLD won the competition. We just didn't want NSW to feel they missed out :p.
erm...yeah. That was it! *nod nod*

The injuries of 2 Storm players bodes well for my team this weekend though :)

I still can't figure if it's poor reffing or purposefully ignoring headhighs and forward passes to make the game go faster?

Either way, El Masri should be happy with his Origin debut, and it was nice to see Mason enquiring after Johnson's health at fulltime, who woulda thunk it...

I think the responsibility for the loss lies with the Qld selectors - they should not have selected players who were already injured going into the game (Johnson, Inglis & Tate). Surely Qld is not so lacking in rugby league players that we can't find a lock forward and a couple of wingers elsewhere. e.g. Tonie Carroll could play lock and bring Corey Parker into the 2nd row, Brenton Bowen, Israel Folau, Ty Williams (choose 2) on the wings.

Pity Qld were given a penalty for a high shot on Carroll. Replays showed that first point of contact was his arm and it slid up to the players neck yet when a qld player did the same thing they wearn't penalised! Of course it was the QLD rugby league who pushed for the current referee selection process which pretty much guarantees the best ref is not selected to control the game. They did that basically as soon as Bill Harrigan retired

you're right they should have kept lockyer and hodges out of games one and two that way NSW would have most likely won the series. I like that idea.

What!!! You travel half way round the world on the internet and the State Or Origin is there!!!

I don't watch footy. But I did switch the channels in the ads to keep an eye on the score. I see we won the series. Hopefully it's habit forming.

Even though we don't watch it I know when Queensland scores. You can hear the neighbours doing their thing.

Go Queensland. MY daughter has met some of the guys as they use where she works for some of their sports injury checks.
