I LOVE Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti, Dee Henderson, Robin Lee Hatcher....Karen Kingsbury.....

Have you read any Ted Dekker? I call him the Christian Stephen King! LOL..he is good. I LOVE his stuff.
You know, I still haven't read Ted Dekker. Never find him at yard sales and for some reason there are none stocked at the library. Thanks for the reminder!

I used to read Stephen King but had to give him up. Language began grossing me out. Might be realistic but I don't hang around with people who talk like that so why would I read it.

Do you like John Grisham? I began reading him with The Testament and then read backward and now have caught up. The Rainmaker still cracks me up! I love how Grisham now includes a strong Christian character - never the hero but always an important character!

We had gone to the restrooms, and were coming back, in the very back, saw a figure bent over, lacing up shoes or something. I stopped. It looked at me. I was like "Thats Scott!"
He didn't smile, so we sidled back to our seats.

I have tried for years to read fiction and I just hate it for some reason.
I even got my only F ever for the one quarter I had to take Fiction in school.
I've tried to read, even the lovely Kinky Friedman(Karrie should know who he is) but I can't get past the first few pages.:(

We listened to The Testement on cd. I LOVED that book. Yes, I do like Grisham...I heard he is a Christian now? Did I hear right? Hm..I lost it watching Stephen Kings "It"...THAT did me in...OIVEY! Scared the life out of me! I hear ya...Robin Lee Hatcher used to write for the secular historical romance, very soft porn, but she gave her life to the Lord and writes good books now.. Iam glad cause I LOVE her. She has some good stuff out there too. But Ted, yeah, he is intense...ILOVE him. Obsessed was difficult to read, but good...
I like Frank Peretti & I enjoy ice skating (the type who thinks it is beautiful & takes alot of skill).
YAY! She is one of us!! LOL...

I will pray for you! LOL...I can't go a day without reading. Right now, I am reading the Christian line of Harlequin...SORRY Karrie...but the suspense ones...all Christmas themes, to get into it! I LOVE the suspense ones Love Inspired puts out. Not really romancy, but they are good for a quick read to get your mind off things...

Me either. Which is why I love the reference section of bookstores. Cool books, like Why Do Dogs Have Wet Noses, and interesting things to learn.
(are you wondering why they do right now?;)

Though I read all of Psalms in 2 days last week.
