My dad and I still like to joke about how he would get a box of pads and then yell really loud "hey Beck, go out for a pass" and then I would actually do it! He once lobbed a box of tampons over into the other aisle, miscalculated where I was at and they landed in a lady's cart. I just whistled and walked away......

And both my dad and my husband have gone out at 2am to Rite Aid to purchase needed supplies for me - they are both wonderful for that, even if I was yelling at them to go get them.

Hubby has also driven to Rite Aid at 4am to get Baby Orajel for the babies teeth. I don't think there's anything that man won't do to get a person to shut up!!

No warning, no counsel, just an infraction. Jo says that she is aware of our code. I just told her that our code consists of two things: Mom and Pop (Staff) and silly names for each other. Apparantly, she believes there is a grand conspiracy by ex-CC'rs using code and all that.

I read somewhere that it was actually CC members who were responsible for the code that was impervious to Nazi cracking during WWII, and not the Navajo.

Besides, where does it state that using a code is a violation of the rules anyways? I mean, if you have a code by which you write "Tofu!" but really mean "I think your post was inane and you have the IQ of a lizard with no limbs!" and maybe four or five people know what "Tofu!" means (and not even the moderators know what it means) how can that weigh as heavily as the true thought, in terms of MB management practices? Methinks some people have too much time on their hands worrying about things which aren't really problems to begin with. I have this much respect >< for the currently active ET Admins. Where is Jeff?

Just the one. I only have one. I posted, "I vote that you get out of the burning building" in Latriea's Last of the Mohican's thread. It was deleted without any PM, so in the same thread, I asked why it was deleted without a PM. That got reported. Then, I posted a picture that said, "Mind the gag!", and that got reported.

I am tired already of being treated like a child on this forum. It is pretty stupid if you ask me, and btw, under the new rules, we don't get warnings and counsel. So, I was just told.

That's a rule that can only be enforced in hindsight. A derail can't really be proven substantial until it has spawned enough posts to account for at least 10% of the total thread postings (or thereabouts IMNSHO).

Exactly. I was reported for using the letter of someone's member name & mention something I noticed... that had to be edited - while I see so many other outright RUDE comments go without deletion or editing.

It's gotten so random & inconsistent that it's not even funny. Most posts trying to discuss anything going on around here end up looking like my next post:
