Dear sister Amy,

Your post is so wonderful! Your words are incredibly encouraging!

Amen! :amen: Yes, our true life really is hidden with Christ in God. What a marvelous place to be hidden - in the very depths of God! And what a marvelous One to be hidden with - our beloved Christ Jesus!

Amen! :amen: Thank you, dear sister, for reminding us of who we really are in Him! May His beauty so attract us that we turn from our natural selves and see only Him, and who we really are in Him! What we are in our natural self is not who we will be eternally, it is not who we are really are in Him.
He is working deep within us to transform us into His absolutely beautiful, radiant, awesome, image! This is a deep and mysterious work - He is transforming us more and more into that which we already are in Him! This is a work that will last for all eternity and we will shine forth to His glory forever and ever! Praise Him!

I have to second your amen, JohannAt! And boy do we need to keep our eyes on Him and remember, we are not of this world. We are heading towards Him, ever closer. Thank God.

This post and Amy's with the beautiful Princess Bride are helping me to put words to something Jesus has been showing me.

I was praying the Rosary the other day...and as you probably know, part of the Hail Mary echoes the words of Elizabeth to Mary when they greeted each other...

"Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb."

And it was like I was seeing....Mary WAS blessed. Her child IS the blessing of all time to all people!
But during their lives on earth, it didn't look like that very much, did it.
They both endured SO much suffering. Jesus of course!!, especially. More than any other will ever suffer.
And yet they ARE the two most precious and blessed humans of all time. (Jesus of course being fully God also!!)

BUT.....they had to hold on to God, they had to hold onto His Words to them during their walk on this earth.

So do we.

God recently encouraged me with some precious words of promise. This during the midst of one of the hardest years I've ever had so far in my life.
Back when He spoke to me, (prophetically through another person at church) I had written down what He'd said, and just the other night I felt Him reminding me to read the words again. And again!

Now this week things have continued to be very hard, mostly regarding great concerns I have over three of my children.
One who is going through a very long, hard road, life threatening at times...
One who is going to Iraq soon....
and one who has had his heart broken.

My heart is aching so much for them.

All of these things, I know God is in control, but it is SO hard to keep hope and not be afraid. The sorrow in my heart seems overwhelming sometimes, especially lately.

Jesus' life on this earth was SO hard, He was and is The Man of Sorrows. And His Mother suffered SO at the suffering of her Son, especially as He died on the Cross.

But God called her most blessed of all women.
And the Names of Jesus, Triumpant, overcoming, Lord of Lords....His great and all powerful Names are many.

But during this life on earth, they both had to HOLD ON.

How amazing is that? And truly He is our great High Priest, who is all compassion for us in our suffering.
Just like Peter said, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has fallen upon you... as if some strange thing were happening to you. And yet I am still surprised! Thank God He understands and He carries us.

I just needed to share. I hope this makes sense to others the way I have written it!
He is our comfort, and our only answer, truly. And even He had to hold on tight to God's promise when Everything looked awful.

Even He!

Thank you dear sister AmyLisa for sharing you heart with us. I hope this picture comforts and encourages you. Our hearts go out to you and the same as Aaron and Hur held up the arms of Moses in the midst of the battle so we hold up your arms through prayer.

(((((MASSIVE hugs!)))))

This has got to be one of the most beautiful portrayals of Yeshua I have Ever seen!!!

WOW! It just takes my breath away. HE takes my breath away!

Thank you for your encouragement, Amy. My husband was saying this morning, his heart is hurting also for these same 3 children of ours.
It's just a valley we have to walk through. And it's not even about us!, it's about our children.

Like he said, he wishes he could just take all their pain himself.
Isn't that what our Jesus did?!

Alleluia~~ He is so wonderful.....wow again.

Dear ones,

All that you have been sharing has indeed been incredibly beautiful.

I just needed to share. I hope this makes sense to others the way I have written it!

Even He!

Amen, dear sister. :amen: Thank you for this precious word. Yes, it makes sense!

It's a video recording of a skit from some church somewhere. It is VERY WELL DONE.

It's about Christ and the Bride. Their relationship starts out beautifully. They dance together, eat together, he makes things for her. However, the bride is seduced by other lovers such as lust, money, friends, beauty, and eventually death.

It's all set to the song Everything by Lifehouse (which I believe is on my list a few pages back).

The added effect is the people/kids screaming in the audience. It sounds like the angels in heaven screaming and jumping for joy over the victory of our Christ.

I've been spamming this everywhere since I saw it earlier today.

Dear sister Restore,

I do not have any art to share; but, like dear sister Robin, I have my own testimony of His healing work. He stooped down to heal me and to shepherd me at the absolutely rock-bottom, lowest point of my life. I was really messed up and was so wild and so deeply depressed. If not for Him, I shudder to think where I would be today!

Praise Him that "All those who come to Him, He will in no way cast any out". He has remained my faithful friend for twenty years now, continuing the gentle healing process. I still have to take life only one day at a time, and He is there with me every day, even though some days He is more hidden than on other days.

I have come to realize that all of us - every human being - is a mess. All of us are in serious need of His healing touch in so many areas of our lives. Our outer symptoms may differ, but deep down, we are all sick with the same disease. How can any one be proud? How can any of us feel superior to anyone else? How can any of us not have the fullest sympathy and empathy for one another? How can we do anything but love one another as He has loved us?

Awaiting Jesus...

Here is the Bride awaiting Jesus. She is standing at the door of her house (life) and is on the look out for Him. Her door remains opened. She is dressed in some of His favorite colors. The brown veil and cloak represents humility. The green dress is symbolic of His life over which is draped a red garment with pink flowers on a blue background. Red stands for the blood of the Bridegroom, the pink flowers, her devotion and the color blue, obedience. Around her neck she wears a cross as it is the foundation of her love for Jesus.

Be prepared dear Bride! Jesus is coming your way!
