Okay, so like...what are solutions to preventing bad breath?

I'm not saying that I have "bad" breath but it's not minty fresh either. The problem is that my mouth is really dry so if I drink water or chew some gum, it prevents my breath temporarily. However, is there anything that can just get rid of the dryness?

Don't give me any suggestions like "Visit the dentist" because that's the first thing I did. Also, I brush my teeth a lot each day and floss. I also don't have any cavities.

It might just be my tongue. Don't they sell those tongue scrapers or something?

Cut down on the salt but also limit sugar intake--particularly sugary drinks for a few days and see if that helps. If you smoke, know that smoking can very strongly aggravate dry mouth.

As for natural remedies, Evening Primrose oil and liquid Echinacea have worked well for dry mouth symptoms.

In this case, you're probably dehydrated. By the time you feel thirsty, you're already significantly dehydrated. Drink a gallon of water a day, but not too fast so your body has tome to absorb it. Now that it's winter, the dehydration can also make you more pronse to sinus infections, colds and flu.

Using a humidifier canhelp too, but is no replacement for drinking lots and lots of water. Caffeine dehydrates, too.
