I have signatures turned off. Some of the signatures on this message board are enormous and dwarf the posts they follow. I found it too distracting to read the content of the posts

It is 10..pm here, and i have had a lot to drink. My mom would habve been 62 years old tonight, her life was cut short seventeen years ago in a cart accident. I was left wirh a crshed left ankle, but she lost her life. I held her hand while they cut us out of the car. Sooory to leave this here, but sometimes I just have to get it out therew

My mum died 14 years ago and my dad died 25 years ago. The loss is always there but life goes on and the memories remain with all their happiness as well as the sadness at the loss. God be with you sylverpiano.

Sober tonight.

Not quite seventeen years ago, Mom and I were on our way out to lunch. A drunk driver blew a red light and t-boned us on Mom's side. The rescue crew had to cut us out of the car. My left ankle was badly crushed and I had a lot of bumps cuts and bruises. Mom died while they were cutting us out. I held her hand to the end.

Mother's Day, her birthday and the day of the accident are really hard for me.

I am back from Mass. The RCIA rites for this liturgical year are all finished. Today we "missioned" our new Catholics and it was a beautiful rite. We also heard a very good homily. I am most thankful to God for the many blessings we have in our parish. A good and godly priest, good pastoral worker, many fine acolytes, many wonderful extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist and so many other fine people who work to make every mass a wonder.
