"Yeah, whatever....." Edward said, his tounge conventiently out of sight, a small blush forming on his face.
Edward had always been considered "wonderfully attractive" by most of the girls at school. He had light bronze hair that he always parted to the left. He said it his some of his unsightly curls, an odd effect that happened when his hair grew too long--now his hair did not look weird. Instead, it looked more natural, aside from the part that held a large tuft of hair to the left, and a smaller tuft to the right.
Edward had "piercing green" eyes that girls said made them feel giddy. The girls absolutely loved Valentine's Day--it was an excuse to tell all their secret desires to marry Edward in plain sight with dozens of chocolates, despite Edward's protests. He was allergic to chocolate, so he normally stayed away from any sweets.
Edward immediately became friends with Edie when she ran into Edward and introduced herself on the first day of school--quite literally, knocking him to the ground. Although her weird antics and "shopping trips" usually caused Edward some sort of pain, he couldn't leave her--Edie considered herself Edward's "funny half that actually knows how to smile", poking fun at Edward's seriousness. He enjoys laughing, but he likes to get everything done before then.
He removed his dark black jacket, and draped it over his arm. He wore a dark blue T-shirt, and jeans as he walked into the musky smelling store behind Edie. He coughed, slightly. There was a man in the corner, huddled over a small bonfire.
"Help yourselves!!" he called to them. Edward sighed. Excellent service.
"Edie, just get your book and leave." he said all to quickly.
