CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yuzuki nodded and then hurried down the stairs, which were ratty as well. one of the pieces of wood broke as she stepped on it and her foot fell through. She pulled her leg out. "I knew that piece of wood would break sometime." Yuzuki murmured.

Edie started laughing, the look on Edward's face was priceless, shock, confusion and a little anger. Well, the anger was normal, but it still added to the humor. Edie watched as some other kids filed onto the bus, one girl in particular, Lauren, Edie knew this girl had a HUGE crush on Edward. And just as Edie expected her to, Lauren stopped at their seat, "Hello Edward." She gave him a stunning smile, "How are you?"
Edie glared her, pink skirt, matching cashmere sweater, long legs, perfect long curly brown hair. Edie felt slightly intimidated by her, compared to Lauren, Edie was punkish, messy and a troublemaker. She leaned back, the Book pressing into her back, another reminder of how unperfect she was.

"Here, let me help you down," he said as stopped in the middle of the staircase. "I learned a little of what to do if there's rotting wood that you're walking on. You just lightly step on the step below you and if it feels like it's going to give way, you hold on to the railing so that if it does give away you still can go down the stairs," he said as he took two steps at a time so he would reach the bottom of the stairs.

Yuzuki nodded and said, "That's good but the railing here is about to give way as well. Notice how there's one on one side but none on the other? That side already collapsed." Yuzuki hurried down the stairs, then she walked towards the bus stop.

"Well, then this place might as well be condemned, being dangerous as it is. You live with me and my mom, and don't complain, you should live in a better place then this rat hole," he said as he walked along side her. "And don't worry, you won't be too much of a burden. Also, I take verbal abuse pretty well."

John closed his eyes as his anger rose. "Don't mention anything about my father, please, that's a soar spot at the moment," he said through clenched teeth as he leaned against the stop sign.

Once the bus arrived, Yuzuki moved up the steps. As usual pieces of paper flew at her in balls. She ignored them and found an empty seat. She sat down.

Twisting around in her seat Edie shouted at the people throwing the balls at Yuzuki, "Hey! Cut that out you pigs! I swear if you don't I'll rip out your jugular, got that?!"
"God, Kennedie, you're so violent." Lauren simpered, she threw a scared look at Edward, "I don't understand why you hang out with someone who is so weird, it's like she's not even human!."

Before Lauren could finish her sentence Edie stood and slapped Lauren across the face. In turn Lauren whipped around and scratched Edie's cheek. The two girls jumped at each other and started fighting like wildcats.

Yuzuki tried to grab hold of Edie and pull her back, of course Edie (I'm assuming is a little stronger than average) was stronger than her and that didn't work at well.

John moved to the open spot beside Yuzuki and caught one of the paper balls that was thrown at her. "Would you guys quit it," he said as he laid his head against the seat before he heard a racket going on. He looked to see what was the matter and saw that Edie and Lauren were fighting. He sighed as he got up and peeled Lauren and Edie apart. "Quit fighting, it's giving me a headache. And you Lauren, I know that you have a crush on Edward but please, don't fight Edie for him. That's just embrassing to watch," he said before returning to his seat.
