Thank you, I pray your week gets better as well! That's great to hear. I didn't have a great day yesterday, but it was nice to come home, lie in bed and read with the window open. I do remember hearing a very beautiful-sounding bird chirping next to my window yesterday; I think it was either a mocking bird or one of those Grackles--they have a distinct throaty song.
Looking forward to some rest today, though it was a better day thanks be to the Lord. Hope your week improves as it nears the end!
I agree, it's especially great for meditation.Birds chirping is one of the best relaxation sounds there is. Besides hearing waves roll in by the lake.
Aww, what a nice story!Well thats funny in was just going to make a thread about something that happened yesterday I went outside and saw this bird on the neighbours driveway and it looked like my cousins cockatiel, they live across the road.
I thought huh? What is Melody (the name of their bird) doing out here? Cos their bird stays inside.
So i call this bird and it climbs on my arm and i walk across the road to take it to my cousins house. i found your bird i said.
My cousins are looking at me in shock. Melody is at home, whats this other bird?
I then realise its not Melody but a different bird.
Lol.
So i take it inside and it meets Melody and they give it some food. Melody now has a friend.
What a fascinating story, I love birds~♪One day I was frying, that usually means a bit of smoke and so the firealarm went off. A black bird did hear it and picked up the tune beep beep beep. When we got the alarm shut of the little bird kept beeping through the open kitchen door and my husband could not make out what it was, He works with computers and thought the computer had some problems. I have talked with birds since childhood and suspected a bird but it certainly sounded like a firealarm in miniature and not like a bird. But it was a sweet charming bird and stood a footstep away from me.
I love the singing birds as well~ I haven't seen a lot of butterflies in my life, but they are very beautiful ~!I love the sounds of birds singing.....and i've seen lots of butterflies![]()
Wow, that sounds so wonderful! I looked up the flowers, I realized I barely know anything about flowers!Yesterday I did sow seeds of aromatic plants that butterflies like. Not a field as we had one summer but just a few plants musksalvias with white big flowers and something in german called turkischer drachenkopf with blue flowers. I did sow other things too flowers and lettuce. The more aromatic flowers with nectar the more butterflies, we have them every summer. I am a gardener and we have a huge garden with lots of roses and fruittrees.
I've never seen a hummingbird, but I bet that's adorable! ♥I already have hummingbird feeders out. I was sure I saw one the other day. They love coming here to fill up. Kinda like watching people at a gas station only for birds! Beep beep!
Its wings move amazingly fast!I've never seen a hummingbird, but I bet that's adorable! ♥![]()
