Some people by their born nature are prudes and prissy. Others are not.

When someone thinks everyone is really like them? And should act like them? They have something seriously wrong with them according to what the Bible teaches us about judging others.

Those who can not help but look down upon and judge others have a serious problem that only grace and truth can cure. If its going to. Its always those who are naturally very moral that Jesus had the hardest time with.

If someone cannot control himself around members of the opposites sex something is wrong with them.

Most people do have that control under normal circumstances. Police work is not normal circumstances.

Its when two of the opposite sex are confined to the same work area "alone."

They key word is "alone."

Police as a rule need to be in good physical shape. Many people as they get older are not. Sex drive has got to do with physical fitness. Love is not the same thing as sexual drive.

Police cars are often times parked off the side of the road and work into the late hours of night when others are home tucked into their beds.

I guess this is just not going to make sense to some who live sheltered lives.

Most people have control over their actions. It is alarming when someone claims they cannot control their behavior.

Men can be alone with a woman other than their wife. That's not sheltered. That's normal.

Most people don’t view alone time with a co-worker as an opportunity for impropriety or a make out session. And those who do are operating with a different moral compass. They’re at work. Most understand that entails different behavior than you’d demonstrate in a bedroom.

Men and women have the right to determine the manner in which they conduct themselves in the workplace.

For many of them, they have decided the Graham Covenant is the way to go.

They need no one's permission or acceptance of that, because only the covenanter will know.

Well, when a woman can't get a private consultation with her male boss--but the male subordinates do--she will know.

That, however, would not be what Graham's rule actually is. That might be fear of #MeToo, or it might just be a way for men to act out their sexism, but let's not blame it on Jesus. It has nothing to do with obeying Jesus.

It has everything to do with being right with Jesus, yes; to deny that is to be in error.

"private conversation"? Leave the door ajar for men and women. Have a window put in for men and women.

But the point is (and some don't like it): only the covenanter will know. If s/he does it right, neither sex will be hindered in job evaluation, counseling, and opportunity for advancement.

The second point is this: #metoo will not threaten either men or women.

Why? If you don't like it, don't do it, for it is not compulsory.

Remember you won't even be aware that it is happening.

You said:

You put Jesus' name on it.

Were you using the name of Jesus in vain?

If you have a scriptural argument for having used Jesus' name, I still expect you to present it.

To some extent, yes, but not entirely.

We don't get to choose to not do our jobs, even when that might involve being alone with others.

They need no one's permission or acceptance of that, because only the covenanter will know.

Which is why this case ended up in court, clearly.
