Just wondering what everyone believes the Bible's main purpose in Christianity is.

It is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work
(2 Tim. 3:16-17)
Do not merely listen to the word; and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says (James 1:22).
All of the Bible leads to Christ (Luke 24:44-49).
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12).
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Thy word (Psalm 119:67).
But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:3-4).
You've misunderstood what the bible is saying.
Before who leaves earth?
The new heavens and new earth is this one remade - that's what resurrection is all about. God doesn't give up on his creation, he puts it to rights.
Your Kingdom come.... on earth as it is in heaven.

The focus of the OT is the here and now, with some promise of the future. The focus of the NT is the here and now and the future resurrection.
The problem with your little acronym is it portrays the bible as being concerned with preparing us for that one bit that it gives almost no space to whatsoever - the bit between death and resurrection.
I didn't say that there is not a period of time between death now and resurrection which lies firmly in the future. What I said is that the bible is remarkably disinterested in that bit.
