Everything that is made comes with a set of instructions. Whether it is home appliances, toys, automobiles, pet accessories, clothing, food, etc.

Food and clothing don't come with instructions for many people. They have to grow and cook their food as they see fit. Clothing likewise has to be grown and made. The essentials of life come with no instructions, need no instructions, if lore and habit passed on from generation to generation is followed.

There are people today who have no Bibles, no part of a Bible, and could not read them if they had them. But they have heard the gospel, by word of mouth, and they have the Holy Spirit, who guides them. They would do better with a Bible, preferably not a translation, but they are certainly better off than a person with a Bible but without the Holy Spirit, of which there are very many.

If you really look close, you will see that all of man's laws have the Ten Commandments as their foundation.
There was secular law a long time before the Decalogue, expressing natural law against murder, theft, adultery and false witness. There was law in favor of idols and their worship, and arguably, there still is. There can be no law against coveting, and using the Lord's name in vain is very hard to legislate against. There is no natural sabbath law, and very few if any states that attempt to implement one today. If they make any serious attempt to do so, they have to legislate against lighting fires, or using electricity, on their designated sabbaths.

Mankind has a natural regulator called the conscience, allied to common sense, and all good law is based upon that.

Most clothing have a tag with instruction on cleaning.
I lot of different food can be or have to be cook a certain way depending on the dish, so its instruction for that.
I could of just said cook book.

Jesus said......John 14

:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

jesus also said....Matthew 24:

:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

All LAws are govern by God, man takes from God and add to.

Thats interesting cause all over the Bible it states to keep the sabbath DAy on the seventh Day of the week

The only Law that even states about going to church is spoken by Moses.

23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. (Leviticus 23:1-3)

You're right about lighting a fire, we can't cook on the sabbath Day, but
as far as lights, lets be reasonable, the Lord know we can't see without
and we need heat.

Alert

To put the record straight.

The quoted material in tanzel's reply has been augmented with his own material, either by accident, or by deliberate tampering. It appears from his post that I have used the KJV, and used red shading, both of which practices I have I have very recently passed adverse comment upon, and which never I normally do. These alterations may be pure coincidence; they may be deliberate. Readers should compare tanzel's version with the genuine one, and take care to repeat this check in future, if necessary.

tanzel can of course decide whether he is going to make the necessary corrections to his post.

That is not true, as is well known. If there was command for a sabbath in the NT there would be no incessant debate about this.

The command is to not light a fire.

but as far as lights, lets be reasonable
'Let's ignore the command of God,' we are told, it seems. Strict Jews do not switch on lights, so what is good enough for them, is good enough for anyone who thinks there is a seventh-day sabbath.

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)

Psalm 19

19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)
