Have you read the Bible Code book? I read it a few years ago, and pretty much forgotten about it until recently. My interest in it started peaking again, and I started doing some research on my own about it recently. I believe it's real, a real hidden code in the bible that would not be opened or cracked until the last days, which is now. The bible says pretty much the same thing, a secret code that will be hidden until the right time.

This is an interesting website that I came across. This guy has the bible code software, and you can email him queries and he will run them and put up the results on his website.

Also, they found the same "codes" in books like Moby Dick, which kind of kills my credulity.

In fact in Moby Dick there's a specific reference to Hilary Clinton being president in 2010 and welcoming the Antichrist to America to persecute the Christians. The predictions of the Bible code in Moby Dick are so frighteningly accurate it has led more than one Bible scholar to go insane!

They were reporting on the news today that they do think that some acid going around is bad after a few incidents that happened.

Obama was elected in 2008. The bible code doesn't say when he would be assassinated. The year 2008 was used to identify him, the president that was elected in 2008. I can't say for sure if it will happen in the future, but if it does, then you will probably take the bible code a little more seriously then you do, along with most other people.

I dont know why I continue to bother posting this information, it seems that most are not interested, or think it's some kind of a joke. I guess when the antichrist starts rounding up christians and killing them and then when Christ returns that will be a joke too.

From other threads on which I have attempted to engage you in serious discussion I was rebuffed by you, or you simply continued to post YOUTUBE videos which you seemed to have thought were supportive to your claims. Are you saying you are open to a sincere dialog on the legitimacy of the "Bible Codes"?

Don't bother to answer, I will assume your answer is "yes" and proceed with the discussion.

The problem with the Bible Codes is it is based upon the false assumption that the Hebrew Scriptures have a single unified text which is devoid from any textual problems and has been prefectly preserved in that form. All you have to do to see this is wrong is take most typical Bibles and start reading the footnotes at the bottom of each page of the Old Testament. You will see that there is a serious, on-going effort to get back to the original text.

There is not a single-flawless-text of the Old Testamant upon which one may begin to count out the characters and perform calculations.
