I started reading the first one and even though it is an interesting read I would like to be able to confirm what he says somehow. Was the death of Arafat predicted since he was such a promint figure in the middle east?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Bible Code

Conveniently it proves itself by things that have already occured. One could create a complex code from the Bible and it fit with past events, yet it wouldn't be cabable of predicting the future. I'm not writing it off completely, but what has the code accurately predicted that occured after it was written?

I can probably write the code myself, as the algorithm looks pretty simple. Next I would need a long text. I can obtain a fairly large book in electronic form, or simply generate a random string of characters with arbritrary length. Then I need to know what to search for, and given the number of words in a dictionary, that should be pretty simple too. S there you have it.
