The Beginning and Development of Revelation of God and Empowerment?

Looking for testimonies, how did you gain your first revelation of God? You saw Him in nature, your secret thoughts revealed, God's love filled your heart, so scripture, then by faith presence actual and local, or you saw your guardian angel? Perhaps you came desperate in pain and were healed? And one revelation was built on another? Biblical examples, Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel, Peter, Paul and John.

And how did you receive power? What power is it?

Mine was why I am a believer. I had played around with non-evangelical "Christianity," as if you can believe in Jesus without it changing you. I became homeless at 19 years old and found myself at a City Rescue Mission where someone showed me 2 Tim 3:16 and 1 Cor 5:17, which convinced me of the authority of scripture and that I couldn't have been in Christ. In one of the church services there God showed me the hopelessness around me, and then revealed as much of His love as I could take, and made it clear that He had to hold it back.

That is the very abbreviated version of a long story of my testimony.
