I have chosen to share some key points of the Christian doctrine , I am well aware that many of you already know these but with so much "Believe however you want to believe and in whatever you want to believe" attitudes in society I thought I would review them and hopefully help you stay on the straight and narrow in your process of developing as Christians.
1) There is only ONE God - Isaiah. 44:6,8; 45:6,14,18,21,22
2) God is a Trinity - 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Pet. 1:2
3) There are no Gods before or after God - Isaiah 43:10
4) God knows all things - 1 John 3:20
5) God is all powerful - Psalms 115:3
6) God is everywhere - Jer. 23:23,24
7) God is sovereign - Zech. 9:14; 1 Tim. 6:15-16
8) God is spirit - John 4:24
9) God created all that exists - Gen. 1:1; Isaiah 44:24
10) God has always been God - Psalms 90:2
11) Jesus is God - John 1:1,14; 8:58; Col. 2:9; Heb. 1:6-8
12) Jesus became man - Phil. 2:5-8
13) Jesus was sinless - 1 Pet. 2:22
14) Jesus is the only way to the Father - John 14:6; Matt. 11:27
15) The Bible is inspired by God - 2 Tim. 3:16
16) All people have sinned - Rom. 3:23 , 5:12
17) Sin seperates us from God - Isaiah 59:2
18) Jesus died for all our sins - 1 John 2:2; 2 Cor. 5:14; 1 Pet 2:24
19) Jesus's sacrifice was a substitution, for us - 1 Pet. 2:24
20) Those who reject Jesus will go to Hell - Rev. 20:11-15
21) Salvation is a free gift from God - Rom. 4:5; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9
22) The Bible is the word of God - 2 Tim. 3:16
23) There will be a final Judgement - 2 Pet. 3:7
I believe and that makes me a believer! But the important thing is not that I believe but rather what I believe in. For humanity and the stength of it lies not in the physical attributes of the human , but rather the spiritual and intellectual attributes. What maketh man and whom maketh man? For if you do not believe on God then ask yourself why, and if you are satisfied with the conviction to put your everlasting soul on the line ,then fine and well , you may.
But if you do believe in God , the maker of everything in the universe, the big I AM , the Alpha and Omega , then you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by believing in Jesus Christ , God the Father , The Holy Spirit , the one and only GOD OF LIFE.
I am here only as an ambassador of Christ. The joy comes from the fact that I have placed my life here and eternally in the hands of Jesus. No matter what has happened or will happen to me here on earth , I know that it is only a moment and then gone , the rest of the time I will spend in heaven with God. The fact is we cannot and will never know everything , but the fundamental things we do know , is that God loves us and only wants his children to return to the truth , to become holy and follow his way.
The sad truth is very few will make it in the end, by that I mean many people will be deceived , and gladly so because they believed a lie and could not accept the truth , for some it has been a miracle to be saved , for me I just found God one day , and he was always there , just as he will always be.
Just want to say before I go , you cannot love without knowing God , and to know God means you understand love.
