Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello everyone! May I come in? I smelled some delicious smelling coffee brewin' and heard a mention of Shoo Fly Pie. I've never had Shoo Fly Pie!

I'm The Smiling One. Bet you can't guess why!!!!!

Is there room for one more? I am a newbie to CF and looking for fellowship. I don't have a local church and this looks like a friendly place! Any pie left? I've never had Shoo Fly Pie either and would love to try it! I could sure use a cup of coffee too! Just thought I would drop in and say hi to Smiling One and everyone else here!

Blessings!

My coffee pot is empty, but since it's rainy and chilly outside, I decided to put a pot of cider on the stove.

Hello everyone! I've been gone quite some time and have been doing some very deep research into the Christian faith. As it turns out, I am giving up my anabaptistic beliefs, so I probably won't be in this subforum much anymore. Glad to see everyone again however, keep in touch!

Hi JesusFreak 877  and Welcome. This is a great thread to hang out in. And the food is always good! One thing for sure we Baptist LOVE food.

Thanks Moma E! and Hi to everybody here today! I am looking forward to hanging out here! Nothing better than some good time Baptist fellowship, coffee and food - my favorites! I used to go to a Baptist church and as I am unable to get out to church locally as much, I miss the wonderful fellowship and food we used to share! This thread is wonderful! I think I will pull up a chair and try the cider Crazy Liz made! It's cold out where I am and nothing like a cup of heart warm cider!

Blessings,

Open your CD rom drawer and I will send you some. That is what this box needs. An easy bake oven! I baked a spice cake with coconut and Almond frosting all before 8AM. My lovely bride had to be off to therapy early so what else was there to do but bake right? :)
