The highlight was Amanda played a prank on him with hiring actors to pretending to be his mom/dad. The mom was kissing him & hitting on him. He laughed when he found out which was a good thing. And he sent Noelle home. I was hoping Chelsea would go but oh well. Next episode they are all going to Barbados.

I've only watched the past few episodes.

Last night I couldn't believe that Amanda got sent home! I thought for SURE it would've been Chelsea with the way Matt was talking about his frustrations with her. I mean, having more eye contact and physical touching with a turtle than his date? That says alot. Then again...I think he's trying to make it easier on himself when it comes to picking his future "bride" so he got rid of the most competition.

Shayne...eh, I dunno about her. She does seem like a spoiled brat and not ready to settle down like Matt wants....JMO. Chelsea I can't say I like her much either.

It'll be interesting to see how long it'll last.

I'm not too thrilled with Chelaea stayign at all. Doing her little nightown # reeled him I think. I liked Amanda too & kinda hopes he picks Shayne over Chelsea.

I won't spoil it yet since it hasn't been broadcast yet in, uh, Hawaii. (Got any Hawaiians here??) But will probably post more tomorrow.

lol, it is exactly what I expected. I had a feeling he would pick Shayne & glad he did.

I think ultimately it was Chelsea's lack of affection that made Matt feel Shayne would be a better choice. It's a decision based more on emotion than anything else. It's ironic, because he kept saying how Chelsea was amazing, she knocks his socks off, there's an incredible energy when they're together, he thought she was The One many times during the show. But he was choosing for love, and Shayne was willing to give that to him.

I do think Shayne grew up a bit on the show. Her outburst in Las Vegas was a definite turnoff to Matt. I think he kept her around at that point because she was so beautiful, and then later came to realize that she's got a warmth and intelligence in addition to the "kittenish" qualities. I think he said on the show that she brings out a side of him that's probably pretty reserved otherwise. So that's good.

I did like how she seemed to be the peacemaker in the household. There were a couple of times when she stood up for the other girls (making sure everyone got time with Matt) or tried to calm down the bickering (like between Marshana and Chelsea).

Matt and Shayne seem pretty different from each other, though, so I hope they can make it work!
