The shape of the ark and it's stability in waves is not the problem. The problem is a wooden keel is not able to support a massive vessel like the ark. The keel would snap if it hogged a 20 foot swell (hoggin is where the wave is at the middle of the ship with both ends of the ship out of the water). Obviously, the Korean experiment did not test this aspect of the ark.

No kidding. Plus, certain details of its construction still are missing, and I am wondering if they actually built it to size and put the "ark" in water. You would think that would have been big news and people would know about it, and yet...

I guarantee Noah didn't know much more about ship building than any of us, and for all you know you are talking to construction workers and engineers. You don't know our occupations.

So if critics get to add features to the story to criticize it
then it's fair for me to add features to explain it.
The animals all hibernated in the dark and did not eat
each other or food. Less mess to clean as well.
No dividers needed. God "Hand picked" the animals
that could diversify into all the species we see today.

How are you going to get over 5 miles of water added and taken away from the Earth without massive storms? Are you claiming that for over a year there would be no storms? That the original placement of the water would leave the Earth as flat as a mill pond?

The mere fact that the Ark would float is meaningless. The Ark would not float with a year of food and fodder for over a million animals. The article that this was based upon only dealt with cramming animals into the Ark.

But I'll cover your complaints one at a time.
-I don't know what the geography of the world was at the time of the flood so we don't know the depth of the water.
-God has very good control of water in the bible. Jesus calmed storms. The Father can calm storm too, following the story that they are the same being.
- I have no idea what the geography was before, during, or after.
- Food and fodder? I just covered that with the idea that all the animals hibernated in the dark rocking boat.
- Million animals? I just covered that. God only took a sampling needed to repopulate all the species.
