Finally! I felt so excited for Arrow, getting their first win!

It's interesting how the producers contrasted the two teams in this episode. I'm someone who would definitely fit in on Kinetic, but seeing the passion and energy of Arrow made me think I should be a little more like them!

Too bad everyone piled onto Marissa in the end, but also too bad that she was so attached to her giant chickens idea and couldn't come up with anything else.

I ABSOLUTELY disagreed with Trump firing Marissa.

On Kinetic, she was responsible for marketing. Every marketing idea (although few) that she put forward got shot down by Heidi.

At the same time, even if nobody liked her chicken idea, it was the ONE idea that would've provided the team with the much needed extra external marketing that they could've used to bring in more customers.

Kinetic ganged up on Marissa and ambushed her unfairly. Only because they were annoyed by her persistence.

By turning down Marissa's marketing idea, the PM effectively took control over the marketing strategy and it failed. I think that Heidi should've been fired for this task.

I really did not like seeing the way that the team treated Marissa.

^ I agree, especially that Heidi bore the ultimate responsibility. PM have to be monitoring what people are or are not doing, and Heidi should have realized that the samples at the drive thru would not be splashy enough to win.

Thank goodness Marissa is gone!

She was so stuck on her 'chicken' idea in the boardroom. She said that she then felt like she couln't express her feelings? Well thats bull. lol. Why would Trump even want her in his corporation if she will get all meek after being turned down once?

We agree again! I thought that her name for the meal was much better than what they went with. And the slogan was great too.

I developed a hearty dislike for both of the other women in the boardroom. Perhaps that will change as we see more of them but I was completely turned off by the way they behaved!

Was Apprentice not on last night? Of course, I was at a Superbowl party. I was going to watch it tonight at 9 or midnight but it's not scheduled for either of those time slots.

I couldn't find it online tonight (is supposed to be uploaded by 2 a.m. Monday), so my guess is that it was not on last night. We must wait another week for a new episode!

It's on www.nbc.com. Just find the place on the site where it says "full episodes." It can be a little confusing because they also have 2-minute teasers and video recaps, which I find somewhat worthless.

I actually don't have cable television at home, and the antenna reception is really bad, so I have to watch almost all my shows online. Except ABC and sometimes WB, which I guess is CW now!

I can't say I completely disagree with Aaron being fired, but at the same time, I'm not a Surya fan. I was disappointed that Arrow lost that task because it seemed to me that Kinetic was a lot less organized in terms of their leadership, though you'd never know it by the way Aimee was spreading her wings in the boardroom.

Now... was it just me? Or did anyone else have the show spoiled by the NBC commercials asking me which of the ARROW team members should be fired BEFORE the task was even completed? I thought that was really messed up. Completely spoiled the show for me.

I agree with what everyone on Arrow has to say about Surya. He reminds me of certain co-workers and old classmates who simply love the sound of their own voice talking all sorts of incomprehensible business jargon. He likes to sound smart and he likes to show it off.

Surya got way too much credit for Arrow's first win. If they had lost that task he was the one who would have gone home. Instead, he appeared to be the team's savior as it was there first win.

I actually watched the Monday and also had the final board room scene runined for me because I knew which 3 would be coming back to the board room and then there was the promo for next week's show which showed Surya and Nicole so I knew Aaron was going to get fired.

I did enjoy the show. I do wish we would see a bit more of the task.

I'm really liking Stefani at this point.

I have been a fan of this show since day one but have to say--I am not sure I like the "surviver" rip offs the Apprentice seems to be taking. IE: tent city

Last night has not raised my opinion of this season
However, I am glad it was an Arrow win.

I think that it is just getting to be too obvious who will be fired. I wish they wouldn't set it up so that it's easy to see how the board room scene will go.

It also seems that the tasks are becoming a way of promoting a well known business rather than really being a task that shows the abilities of the contestants.

That said... I do believe that Aimee was a weak leader (but then we only see what the show chooses to show us). And, yeah, she was really ticked when she left!

I really agree. When the task was announced, I rolled my eyes and thought, "Is this REALLY a task that compares with the work the Apprentice would have to do at Trump's organization?" It's become rather rote: For each task, the teams will go to a well-known business and sell as much of X as they can.

In the past seasons, the tasks seemed more interesting -- more market research involved or creative planning.

BTW, I don't really care for Jenn after this episode. Not because she fought Aimee in the boardroom (Aimee did NOT seem like a high-powered leader and probably deserved to be fired) but because Jenn appears so negative and blah....

OTOH, this is the first episode that Derek really stood out.

And whaddya all think of the showmance?

They really are going to have to get back to real tasks if they want to keep viewers. I'm a huge fan of the show but last season and this season have gone downhill.

Surya got lucky. It seems as through there isn't much of a difference in the results that the winning teams get over the losing teams.

Surya's team didn't even have a Spanish language strategy, yet Kinetic was getting burned for not giving it enough acknowledgement. They even had two people on the team who were somewhat conversational in Spanish (Derek and Muna).

I still can't get over what a nerd Surya is. And I agree about the tasks only being about promoting a business. I can only imagine how much they had to pay Trump in order to get some air-time on his show.

I agree! Maybe once, but it seems the editors wanted to give the audience an eyeful!

I was wondering about that. I assume the groups were at two different malls. Wouldn't it have been a handicap to Kinetic to have the 50 percent Spanish-speaking mall? I mean, the show producers didn't explain, but I'm guessing the Arrow mall didn't have the same demographic. Or maybe it did and, yeah, the team didn't dwell on it since they won. And when you win, you don't have to answer hardly any questions about your performance.
