The wages of sin is death. Adam sinned. It was his sin that caused his death.
To be slain means that the one who was slain has died. He’s been murdered.. The result for the person is the same, he”s dead.

The Red dragon is said to be “that old serpent”. Which means that the serpent was in the garden with Adam. The serpent did not kill Adam, his own sin did. Adam was slain by his own sin. Cain murdered his brother, which was also sin.

The text of Revelation 18:24 does not say of all who have "died" upon the earth. The text indicates violence.

Revelation 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Ezekiel 28:16 referring to Satan...

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Satan is the originator of sin, the father of lies.

Sin is violent, it kills.

The Bible tells us Adam is the originator of sin. “ by one man sin entered…”

Ezekiel 28:is speaking of a man. The king of Tyre. Who is another name for the man of sin and the little horn of Daniel 7.:
Compare the text.

Compare the text.
The wages of sin is death. There are many ways a person can die. Being slain is a violent act. Such as when Cain slew his brother Abel.

Adam was not the originator of sin. Satan working through the serpent seduced Eve and Adam to eat from the forbidden tree.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The prince of Tyre in Ezekiel 28:1-10 is referring to the little horn person who becomes the revealed man of sin, by sitting in the temple of God, claiming to have achieved God-hood in 2Thessalonians2:3-4.

The king of Tyre in Ezekiel 28:12-19 is referring to Satan, once an anointed cherub, who gets cast down to earth, and exposed before kings, right before being a terror no more, verse 19.

The number is the number of his name. Nothing to do with Adam. Nor the 7th trumpet.

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Tim, where are you coming up with a statement like that ? Explain what you mean by "after the Atonement is removed at the 7th Trumpet".
That may be, that the beast is named Adam. But the beast is an image of humanity and named after humanity. The name and number do not originate with the beast. The name and number originate with Adam who disobeyed God and brought sin and death into the world.

The 7th Trumpet declares time up. Sin and death are over. The Atonement is no longer necessary. According to Daniel 9:27, once the Atonement is confirmed, it is taken away.

That is why, if Satan is granted a 42 month extension, grace and salvation will not be found on earth. That is when the Abomination of Desolation is set up and Satan's authority replaces that of Jesus and God during those 42 months.

"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

All should know that those promises made in verse 24 all have to do with the Gospel and the obedience of Jesus to the Cross, as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. That is the whole theme of Daniel 9, Revelation, and the Olivet Discourse as the spread of the Gospel that the Messiah purchased as the New Testament Covenant. That is the Atonement Covenant of the book of Hebrews.

This reverting back to the Mt. Sinai Law of the OT is all part of the erroneous left behind series or some version of this series. Most of the time frames people use from Daniel already took place at the original AoD which was typified by Antiochus Epiphanes and the Greek prophecies in Daniel.

The week referred to in Daniel 9:27 is the week of days of the 7th Trumpet. The Trumpets and Thunders are the final harvest by Jesus Christ and the angels. All of humanity is being removed from the earth, and either made alive or cast into the LOF. The winepress of God's wrath is the very last event to complete the mystery and remove the curse of sin and decay from creation. The regeneration of heaven and earth starts the Day of the Lord.

Twice the winpress is mentioned in Revelation. Once in chapter 14 and once in chapter 19. Only one of them will happen. You cannot kill all on earth twice.

The one that happens is based on the confirmation of the Atonement Covenant during the week of the 7th Trumpet.
