Regarding the thought that the Antichrist will claim to be Jesus, no that will not happen because the spirit of Antichrist is to deny that Jesus is the messiah.

3. the Antichrist - anointed the King of Israel, who will confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant (by having the law read to the nation of Israel from the temple mount) to begin the 7 years.

Your not making sense dear one, who else could become "anointed" King of Israel other than one claiming to be the Messiah?

At Jesus's Second Coming, the beast-king (the Antichrist in his final stage) gets cast alive into the lake of fire.

Differently, Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit, for a thousand years, before Satan too will be cast into the lake of fire.
I was curious as to how the devil is going to cast some in prison to have their faith tested.

There is nothing in the gospel of John about the Antichrist demanding worship of another person
We get that information in Daniel and Revelation, John is not the only one to speak of the end.

Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women,
nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. Daniel 11:37 matching perfectly 2 Thessalonians 2:4-12.

But in their place shall he honor a god of fortresses: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold
and sliver and precious stones, and pleasant things. Daniel 11:38 matching Revelation 13:14-15

shouldn’t that be “God of his fathers”?

“gods of his fathers” would suggest Gentiles, while ”God of his fathers” could suggest Jewish.

"gods of his fathers"

Amos 5:25-26
"Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?"
"But ye have born the tabernacle of Molech and Sikkuth your images, the star of your god,
which ye made to yourselves"

Deuteronomy 32:17
"they sacrificed unto demons, not to God, unto gods whom they knew not"

In that case it’s still a Jewish man, Israel.

Their fathers knew not the demons(idols) whom they sacrifice. Their fathers knew of one God.

Yes, the anti-Christ will certainly be "Jewish". Daniel is referring to that he abandons the true God in favor of demons.
There is no doubt in my mind the AntiChrist will be a Jewish man. He will be a king of Israel who magnifies himself as a god. But he is a horn on the beast. When he is cast down from his high place in heaven, and his dominion taken, he will be compelled to worship a false god. The god of the beast(Assyrian).

That verse does not say the beast is a man. It says the number is the number of a man.

The number is given to Adam after the Atonement is removed at the 7th Trumpet.

Only one man brought sin into the world. That man is Adam. The number belongs to Adam in association with the transgression placed on creation.

I am thinking he is just going to spend a lot of money on military, placing a lot of importance on it, and having some screwed generals.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

The number is the number of his name. Nothing to do with Adam. Nor the 7th trumpet.

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The number is given to Adam after the Atonement is removed at the 7th Trumpet.

Tim, where are you coming up with a statement like that ? Explain what you mean by "after the Atonement is removed at the 7th Trumpet".

Concerning the idea the Antichrist will be a false Messiah, in the prophecy of Isaiah he is called Lucifer with actually means “morning stat”. But Christ Jesus is the true bright morning star.

In 2Thessalonians2:3-4, the revealed man sin is called the son of perdition. Judas was also called the son of perdition as Satan temporarily entered Judas to carry out the act of betrayal of Christ.

Therefore, it is likely that Satan will temporarily enter the Antichrist to carry out the transgression of desolation act, of claiming to be God, revealing him as the man of sin - who is killed for the act and finds his soul in hell in Isaiah 14.

Isaiah 14:12-14, encapsulates Satan's desire to be like God, exalting his throne above the stars of God.

When Satan temporarily enters the Antichrist, through whom, Satan carries his desire to be like God, but in Isaiah 14:15, it picks up with the failure of that desire - as the revealed man of sin finds his soul in hell.

.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. [It is talking about the ornate tombs of powerful kings ]

19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, [i.e the revealed man of sin will not have the honor of being buried in an ornate tomb, as he will not be buried] because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. [he will be a Jew, who betrays his own people]

When God returns the slain man of sin's soul back to his body, bring him back to life, the person enters the final stage of his career (for lack of a better word) as the beast- the mortally wounded but healed head in Revelation 13.

It’s interesting that the man “morning star” of Isa 14 speaks of himself in the same manner as the little horn of Dan 7 and Paul’s man of sin, Antichrist.
The “morning star” is speaking of the king of Babylon.
Jerusalem is referred spiritually as Sodom and Egypt, and I think here is spiritually spoken of as Babylon. And also the Babylon of Revelation.

when after the evil king of Israel has run his course of making war against the saints in Jerusalem, he will be overthrown by the beast, or king of the north, and his dominion taken. And that is what I believe is being spoken when it’s said Babylon has fallen.

Babylon has fallen, has fallen, in Revelation 18 is a reference to Satan and his angels' mystical kingdom of Babylon the Great. It is referring to Satan and his angel's being cast down to earth in Revelation 12:7-9, as God begins dismantling Satan and his angel's kingdom, over the course of the time/times/half time that Satan will have left.

I prefer a common sense approach. The adversary to believers in Jerusalem will be first the Antichrist and then the king of the north.

I don’t believe anyone could understand Revelation without the aid of the prophets of old.
A case for Jerusalem and her people as the harlot of Babylon can most definitely be made from the prophets.
Where can the case be made from the prophets for Satan and his angels as “mystical kingdom of Babylon the great”?
