There's a lot of stuff on this. The pioneering work by a Xtian was done by a Russian maths professor Ivan Panin who discovered some codes, promptly got saved and spent the remaining 40 years of his life uncovering the most amazing stuff. Have a flick through this page for example.

This guy Bill Sandford's got some great short vids. I purchased his Bible version, the 'Complete Messianic Aleph Tav Scriptures'.

Another good one is the 'Eth Cepher' Bible, which also has all the 'aleph tavs' put back in.

I mean, I don't see anything wrong with it. And I think seeking things out that God has put in His word is not for kings only.

To Steve's comment, I don't think the fact that numerology may be practiced in occultism doesn't make it occult in of itself. The fact that the numbers don't add up to something random means in my opinion that it's a fingerprint of God. I hope it can be useful in evangelizing, especially atheists. I believe some people are easier to be swayed by eye-opening information like this then they are by fullfilled prophecies.

Funny, I just read Jord's post and thought 'Kabbalah' lol.

There's a point at which healthy gematria enquiry becomes dark occult sorcery IMO. Where is that point? Well, when you start consulting the Witch of Endor, you've probably gone too far.

But I think there is a line that should not be crossed.
And frankly, I'm not sure where that line is.
I suggest you decide for yourself where that is.

Playing with fire, though. This is how the devil seduces ppl into freemasonry (kabbalah for goys). Starts with 'Chokmah Shalomah'.

Also, I'd suggest it's ultimately a fruitless quest, look at how Solomon ended up. Jesus shows us the right path, which is of the spirit - love, faith, hope etc - rather than the letter/ number.

I think apologetics for evangelism is a lost cause. The scheme of ungifted (powerless) Damnationists. Personal testimony cannot be successfully argued against. It's yours alone, you confirm the validity. If you pray for an atheist and they receive healing, what does that tell them about God?
