I watch Bible Project, Calvinist pastors and Baptists, mostly.

Then you will have a small group of people attack them.

I noticed you will always find a small group that will always disagree with people.

For ever thesis someone has you will always have someone with an anti-thesis.

Well what am I supposed to do? Nobody is infallible.

Specialize in Jesus' teachings in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

This will keep you busy for a while ...

When you get Jesus down, branch out to the teachings of Paul, Peter, etc.

But I can't focus with disagreements everywhere.

The Bible says for people not to cause divisions and discord yet they keep doing this confusing everybody including me.

It was the same in the early days of the church.

Set your eyes upon Jesus. Love God and love your fellow man.

You don't have to have it all figured out ... just do the best you can do ... as you walk with Jesus ...

I rest in the Lord, not man. I'm aware of the different traditions and philosophies but don't follow them. It's impossible for everything to be true and I wouldn't be subject to error, confusion, or leaven if I didn't eat its fruit so I don't.

I have these words written on a whiteboard. It's in my direct line of sight and the first thing I see when I wake. The daily reminder has served me well for years.

Hi there,

Give your questions to Him... trust that He will tell you what you need to know and be at peace with that.

Remember that the first temptation in the garden was to know, give Him your desire to know and He will lead you to the understanding you need.

There is great peace in this - you will no longer be running around after answers.

Usually the questions that He knows you need an answer to will be answered within days.

"Let the peace of God be the judge of all things in your heart....

If you are gifted in mind this takes intellectual humility... Give your mind back to Him for His use.

Question is who teaches you?
Is it the Holy Spirit or men. Men are only vessels and with the Spirit, you'll be able to discern the truth.
In Mathew 28, Jesus instructed , "...teaching them to observe all things I have commanded..."
You and I are disciples, we learn from Jesus Christ our Master. We read, hear and do as He commands. His commands are His words not men's.
The danger with relying on men's words above God's is that some often speak out of intellectual knowledge and not inward wisdom .

You have the indwelling Holy Spirit to help you so read scripture on your own and quit listening to "others".
You might need to just put into practice what you know.
