One of the problems in our society today is that people just believe what the media tells them without examining it for themselves. Clearly, that is the case here, as you seem to have just bought into the talking points you heard, rather than listening to the speech for yourself.
Romney never said he doesn't care about the 47%. What he said is that it's not a good campaign strategy to try to convince people who don't pay taxes that it's in their best interest to lower other people's taxes because they don't have a horse in that race and so it isn't an issue for them.
Please, use some discernment before you post things like this.
Most of the threads on these boards are based on perception and spin. Very few take the time to read a transcript or listen to the context of a statement within a broader speech.
