One of the problems in our society today is that people just believe what the media tells them without examining it for themselves. Clearly, that is the case here, as you seem to have just bought into the talking points you heard, rather than listening to the speech for yourself.

Romney never said he doesn't care about the 47%. What he said is that it's not a good campaign strategy to try to convince people who don't pay taxes that it's in their best interest to lower other people's taxes because they don't have a horse in that race and so it isn't an issue for them.

Please, use some discernment before you post things like this.

What I think is so funny is that the liberals are always telling us how much they hate banks and bankers and yet, not one liberal has anything to say about the portion of that video in which Romney absolutely destroyed the Federal Reserve.

It was so powerful that I think Romney ought to take that portion of the video and make a campaign video out of it.

In all fairness, how do we know? First, you said you don't pay income taxes and now you say you don't. So how can we trust that you're telling the truth about yourself? And if we can't trust what you say about yourself, then why should we believe that Romney is lying about you?

What he meant was he's not going to go out of his way to try and sway voters that are never going to vote for him anyway. If you're sitting at home collecting a check when you are perfectly capable of working, why would you vote for the guy who's gonna tell you to go out and get job and stop mooching off the system? He made a mistake by lumping the whole 47% into that category, but common sense tells you he wasn't talking about veterans or people who have legit reasons not to work, he was talking about the bums.
