CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well you guys ... I'm going to probably stick it out at parlor for awhile longer ..
I'm trying to understand a few things about turning the other cheek vs. being a door mat ... maybe that's how I'm perceived as weak and a mat to be stepped on, but I don't think that I am... at least not at this point of my understanding of what the Lord wants me to do and be.

Just come around when you feel comfortable doing so.
I'm certainly not going to force the issue.
God works with everyone in His own timing, not ours.
I'd probably hang around a bit more too but I'm afraid of.......well you know.
Do stop by the devotionals though Jojo, I know you like that sort of thing & we'd be happy to have you contribute. I know you always came up with good things to contemplate on.
