You're asking the wrong person.Pardon?
I disagree; but I offered what you requested. Are you happy now?Your anecdote is not relevant to the thread.
I'm sure that this kind of picture of America could be traumatic to those children whose parent's have taught them White supremacist ideology, perhaps including the belief the blacks need to be segregated and sent back to Africa. In my life, a majority of parents is some states would be horrified and traumatized by such pictures, and would have passed that outrage on to their kinds.Traumatizing ?

I had considered that it might have been exactly the opposite.I wonder if they were indoctrinated by their parents for racism.
okI had considered that it might have been exactly the opposite.
If a child was raised in a fine Christian home that is color blind; and in the 1st grade he is traumatized by a Liberal message that harps on racial division in America; I can understand why his parents might be offended.
I really don't see much of this Dixicrat mentality these days. Perhaps it would be better to wait for children to lean more about the history of the Democratic Party in High School History.I'm sure that this kind of picture of America could be traumatic to those children whose parent's have taught them White supremacist ideology, perhaps including the belief the blacks need to be segregated and sent back to Africa. Just because you might not like the answer, doesn't change the facts. No you didn't.
Well, as far as that goes, I don’t know how much autonomy a teacher should have in that area.We don't. Nevertheless, whether it's real or imaginary, it was cited as a pretext for exerting even more of a chilling effect on teacher autonomy in their classroom displays -- "to avoid 'situations like that'". Whatever that might actually be.
I agree. Children have always figured things out... no need for the Left's self-righteous sneaky indoctrination method of continually playing the race card (and any other card that serves their voting agenda), which like the rest of their policies have created more division than ever before.Conroe ISD trustee argues displays of racial inclusivity and pride in classrooms should be removed
One trustee says a child was traumatized by a poster showing different colored children holding hands and had to switch classrooms.
Dungan [the trustee] wouldn't say whether she found that poster objectionable, just that she wants to avoid "situations like that" by having the board adopt stricter standards and adhere to state policies already in place, prohibiting teachers from displaying political items not relevant to curriculum.
Link?I agree. Children have always figured things out...
Are you talking about Sunday school?no need for the Left's self-righteous sneaky indoctrination method
Link?of continually playing the race card
A voting agenda in an elementary school?(and any other card that serves their voting agenda),
The GOP is creating division with their racist policies.which like the rest of their policies have created more division than ever before.
I verified it for you; that is unless you are implying that I'm a liar. The fact is, an unverifiable anecdote is not an answer.
More importantly, neither did the person complaining about the alleged political message behind it.Aside from that, I see that you haven't disclosed what political message was behind it.
Are you sure? Did you attend the conference; or are you making an assumption based on what was not reported by your biased source?More importantly, neither did the person complaining about the alleged political message behind it.
It will certainly be more efficient if elementary school teachers don't spend their own money and time on decorating their classrooms. They need only put up an Outline of the School Curriculum. Everything relevant to the curriculum will be present, and everything not relevant to the curriculum doesn't belong in the classroom.Well, as far as that goes, I don’t know how much autonomy a teacher should have in that area.
What a revolutionary idea! That way children could focus on subjects that would teach them to be self sufficient.Everything relevant to the curriculum will be present, and everything not relevant to the curriculum doesn't belong in the classroom.
That's because you are not looking at the Left's real target with the race card in schools... the non-White parents.More importantly, neither did the person complaining about the alleged political message behind it.
